It was a golden anniversary running event. Right on time for the start, the sun shone in the blue sky for the almost 4,000 starters. Thousands of spectators applauded the runners from downtown Lübeck to Travemünde. The 15th Stadtwerke Lübeck Marathon once again showed that it has rightly gained a firm place in the hearts of the running scene and also of people from the entire region.
