... In Lübeck is an unique atmosphere at the marathon and the half-marathon. You don’t feel the typical north german calm. The participants are from all parts of Germany and almost 15 nations experience one of the most atmospheric runners events. Over 600 small and big assistents are responsible for a great organization. A lot of accommodation places, dj´s and bands care for a good frame. Firemen, rescuemen, THW and the police find out an almost perfect accord with the Lübecker Marathon e.V.: We can count to each other. Everyone is committed that all participants have a nice run experience”, says Norman Ziele from the organization team. For the partner hotels Holiday Inn and Atlantic Lübeck, who are recovers from the runners long ago, it is also intern a little marathon. “Our guests from Denmark or Germany sometimes celebrate before but guaranteed after the run. That shows, that they feel very comfortable”, says Matthias Bünting from the Holiday Inn Lübeck.
